With clubs all around Australia and for over 40 years introducing sailors young and old to the sport of sailing, the Heron class boasts one of the longest associations in the sport in Australia. Boats are one design but not restricted to one supplier or builder. Boats are foam fibreglass or plywood and many competitive boats are 30 to 40 years old and everything in between up to brand new ready to race.
